Information For Medical Transcriptionists

Unlimited Transcription is an Internet Transcription Company. We transfer digitally recorded dictation voice .wav files using the Internet and our Internet Transfer Software.

We loan our family of Medical Transcriptionists our software to enable them to connect, transfer files and communicate over the Internet. We also supply Line Counting Software that is used to invoice Unlimited Transcription for payroll.

MT's will need to use a special wave pedal to play the dictated voice .wav  and .dss files. We have a supplier of these special pedals and can make arrangements for the purchase of a pedal valued at $150.00.

Unlimited Transcription usually pays 8 cents per 65-character line. Payroll period ends every 2 weeks on Friday with checks mailed Monday morning.

We only type in Microsoft Word software and our expectations are error-free work.

Minimum Requirements

• 2 years experience typing medical transcription in hospital or clinic setting.

• PC with adequate hard drive space, Pentium processor, Windows (98, 2000, XP), communication port, sound card, and internet connection and browser.

• Strong computer and Internet skills with the ability to install software, download software, use electronic transfer software, and find/move data between folders and zip files within your system.
