We realize that security, reliability, and control are huge concerns when outsourcing confidential medical dictation and the Internet are combined. Unlimited Transcription has worked closely with several software and equipment companies to produce our Secure Internet Transfer System.

This system provides the following features: 

• Portable phone-free dictation capture using the DH-10 /  Olympus 3000 handheld digital recorders or PDA with minimum of four hours of recording time. 
• Archiving original voice dictation files in the client’s PC system. 
• Automated upload of voice dictation files with no user interaction required beyond connecting USB cable or placing device in charger base.   
• On-screen updates of archive and Internet transfer of dictation and the internet transfer of the dictation by presenting a graph that shows the percentage of transfer.
• Event log of all Internet transfers (outgoing and incoming). Authentication and Encryption of all Internet transfers using RSA public key authorization and symmetric key encryption to verify identities and to encrypt data. This guarantees that neither PC is an impostor and effectively prevents third parties from deciphering data that our PCs exchange. This authentication and encryption level meets the current requirements of the HCFA Internet Security Policy as well as HIPAA Technical Security Mechanisms.
